If you send a mobile recording kit to your Guests, we recommend that you include:
- A device with the mobile Riverside app already installed on it
- A microphone that can connect to the mobile device (more info) or 3.5mm headphones.
The Riverside mobile app limits users to one connected piece of equipment at a time due to mobile device constraints, which prioritize a single audio input/output. -
If you want to use an external microphone and wired headphones together, include a TRRS Splitter.
NOTE:
Bluetooth headphones are possible on some devices, but we always recommend wired headphones for a more reliable connection. - A stand, mount, or tripod for the mobile device
- A small light, such as a ring light
- A scannable QR code of the Studio invite link, sent to their email, printed, etc.
- Guests can scan the QR code using their mobile device to quickly join the Riverside Studio
