« To Riverside editor: Overview
Upload your YouTube video to your Riverside account to generate a transcript, add captions, create Magic Clips, and customize your content in the editor.

Step by Step
- Log in to your Riverside account.

Select the project where you would like to upload the file.

In the upper-right corner, click Create.

Click Import.
- In the upload panel, click Paste YouTube link.
- Enter the video's URL.
- From the dropdown menu, select the number of speakers in the video.
Riverside creates separate audio tracks for each speaker that you can rename in the editor.
- Click Upload.
Keep the page open while the file uploads. You can leave it while Riverside processes it.
Good to know
- You can upload up to 3 hours of YouTube video content to your Riverside account.
- Videos are uploaded in 640x360 resolution.
- Always copy the full URL from the browser address bar.
- Ensure the video is public or unlisted (private videos may not be accessible for processing).

Member-only content, YouTube Shorts, active livestreams, and region-restricted videos are not supported.
