You can run a test live stream only if your destination platform allows you to stream privately (or to a select group of people). It's best to do this test in a different studio than the one you plan on hosting your live session in.
For YouTube and Riverside destinations, you are able to test a live stream directly from the studio.
See the steps below on how to enable a private stream on the following platforms:
- LinkedIn: You cannot enable a private stream on LinkedIn. You can create a test event for LinkedIn Live Event only.
- Twitch: Set your stream to private
- Instagram: Set your stream visibility to close friends only
- Facebook: Create a private group for all test streams
Once you enable the stream to be private, follow the steps to connect your live stream destination and go live!
