Publish to X (Twitter)

« To Share and publish your content: Overview

Share your content straight to X without extra steps. You can publish both exported clips and edits right away, or schedule them to publish at a future date and time. If your clip hasn’t been exported yet, we’ll guide you through the steps before publishing.

Step by step

Publish an export to X
1. Log in to your Riverside account.
2. Navigate to the relevant studio.
3. Select the relevant Project.
4. From the top menu, click Exports.
5. On the export you want to post, click Share.
6. Click the X icon.
7. If you haven't already, follow the instructions in the pop-up to log in to your X account.
8. The Create Post panel opens.
9. To connect another X account:
  1. Click the plus icon under Platforms.
  2. From the dropdown, select X.
  3. Follow the instructions in the pop-up to log in.
    Every connected account across all platforms is selected by default.
10. To exclude an account from your post:
  1. Under Platforms, click the dropdown next to the account.
  2. Select Exclude from post.
11. Add a Description.
  Or click the Generate description icon in the bottom left corner of the text-box to auto-generate a description.
12. To add a thread:
  1. Under the description, click Create thread.
  2. Type your text in the new thread text field.
  3. To add a video to the item, click the image icon and pick a file.
  4. To add another thread, click Add.
    You can add up to 25 threads.
  5. To reorder threads, click the up or down arrow.
  6. To remove a thread, click the trash icon.
13. Click Publish.
  Your clip is published immediately.
Publish an edit or Magic asset to X
1. Log in to your Riverside account.
2. Navigate to the relevant studio.
3. Select the relevant Project.
4. From the top menu, click Edits or Made for you.
5. In the bottom-right corner of your edit or Magic asset, click Share.
6. Click the X icon.
7. Export your edit:
  - Select Video quality.
  - Toggle Remove watermark to remove the watermark from the exported file.
  - Toggle Normalize audio levels to balance sound levels.
  - Toggle Remove background noise to reduce unwanted background noise.
8. Click Export video.
9. If you haven't already, follow the instructions in the pop-up to log in to your X account.
10. The Create Post panel opens.
11. To connect another X account:
  1. Click the plus icon under Platforms.
  2. From the dropdown, select X.
