Create and send a newsletter

Turn any recording into a newsletter issue with AI, or write one from scratch using the rich text editor. Build your subscriber list through a dedicated website and track your growth with built-in analytics.

Set up your newsletter

  1. Log in to your Riverside account.
  2. Navigate to the relevant studio.
  3. From the sidebar on the left, click Newsletter.
  4. Click Create Newsletter.
  5. Add a title and description.
  6. Click Save.

Create a post

  1. Click + New post in the top right corner of the Newsletter dashboard.
  2. Select an option from the dropdown:
    • Write from scratch: Draft the newsletter yourself in the rich text editor.
    • Generate from file: Select any recording, edit, or export for Riverside AI to generate a newsletter draft.
  3. Edit your newsletter.
  4. To send a test email before publishing:
    1. Click Test email in the top right corner of the page. 
    2. Enter the relevant email address.
    3. Click Send
  5. Click Publish to send immediately, or click Schedule to choose a date and time.

Add subscribers

Enter email addresses manually, or import existing subscribers from another platform via CSV.

Important: Only add subscribers who have explicitly opted-in to receiving emails.

  1. On the newsletter dashboard, click the Subscribers tab.
  2. To manually input subscriber list: 
    1. Click Enter emails
      The list of emails you enter should be separated by commas. 
    2. Click Add subscribers
  3. To import a subscriber list:
    1. Click Upload CSV.
    2. Click the plus.svgupload button.
      Your computer's file selector opens.
      OR drag a CSV file.

  • All newsletters are sent from no-reply@newsletter.riverside.com. You cannot add a custom sender email address.
  • Recipients cannot reply to your newsletter. 
  • The logo at the top of the email is your podcast art and cannot be edited.
