Turn any recording into a newsletter with AI, or write one from scratch using the rich text editor. Your newsletter is published online via your Riverside website, where visitors can read your Posts and subscribe for updates.

Set up your newsletter
- Log in to your Riverside account.
- Navigate to the relevant studio.
- From the sidebar on the left, click Newsletter.
- Click Create Newsletter.
- Add a title and description.
- Click Create.
Create a post
- Click + Create post in the top right corner of the Newsletter dashboard.
- Select an option from the dropdown:
- Write from scratch: Draft the newsletter yourself in the rich text editor.
- Generate from file: Select any recording, edit, or export for Riverside AI to generate a newsletter draft.
- Edit your newsletter.
- To add a photo to your newsletter:
- Click the
image icon from the edit bar at the top of the page.
- Select a photo from your computer.
- Click Open.
- Drag your image between titles and paragraphs to place it.

- To add a video to your newsletter:
- Click the
video icon from the edit bar at the top of the page.
- Select an export from your Riverside account.
The preview window will be placed at the bottom of your newsletter by default. - Drag your image between titles and paragraphs to place it.

- To send a test email before publishing:
- Click Send test in the top right corner of the page.
- Enter the relevant email address.
- Click Send.
- In the top right corner of the page, click Publish & send to send immediately, or click Schedule to choose a date and time.
Add subscribers
Enter email addresses manually, or import existing subscribers from another platform via CSV.
Important: Only add subscribers who have explicitly opted-in to receiving emails.
- On the newsletter dashboard, click the Subscribers tab.
- To manually input subscriber list:
- Click Enter emails.
The list of emails you enter should be separated by commas. - Click Add subscribers
- Click Enter emails.

Good to know
- A Riverside website is required to publish your newsletter online. If you don't have one set up yet, you will be prompted to create one when you set up your newsletter.
- The newsletter will be send from an email address that reflects your Riverside website custom subdomain:
noreply@[subdomain].riverside.com. - Recipients cannot reply to your newsletter.
- The logo at the top of the email is your podcast art and cannot be edited.
- Videos in a newsletter must come from your Riverside account. You cannot upload external video files.
- You can only add exported videos to a newsletter.
- When a recipient clicks a video from the newsletter, they are taken to your Riverside website.
