Publish to Facebook

« To Share and publish your content: Overview

Share your content straight to Facebook without extra steps. You can publish both exported clips and edits right away, or schedule them to publish at a future date and time. If your clip hasn’t been exported yet, we’ll guide you through the steps before publishing. 

Step by step

  • Publish an export to Facebook

    1. Log in to your Riverside account.
    2. Navigate to the relevant studio.
    3. Select the relevant Project.
    4. From the top menu, click Exports.
    5. On the export you want to post, click Share.
    6. Click the Facebook icon.
    7. If you haven't already, follow the instructions in the pop-up to log in to your Facebook account.
    8. The Create Post panel opens.
    9. To connect another Facebook account:
      1. Click the plus.svg plus icon under Platforms.
      2. From the dropdown, select Facebook.
      3. Follow the instructions in the pop-up to log in.
        Every connected account across all platforms is selected by default.
    10. To exclude an account from your post:
      1. Under Platforms, click the dropdown next to the account.
      2. Select Exclude from post.

    11. Under Page, choose which connected Facebook Page to post to.
    12. To add a custom thumbnail:
      • In the top left corner of the preview window, click the image-01.svg photo icon. 
      • Click Upload image
      • In the file picker, choose a JPG or PNG image from your computer.
        Thumbnails must be 2MB or smaller.
    13. Add a Title
    14. Add a Description.
      Or, click the Generate icon to generate an AI description.
    15. Click Publish.
      Your clip is published immediately.
  • Publish an edit or Magic asset to Facebook

    1. Log in to your Riverside account.
    2. Navigate to the relevant studio.
    3. Select the relevant Project.
    4. From the top menu, click Edits or Made for you.
    5. In the bottom-right corner of your edit or Magic asset, click Share.
    6. Click the Facebook icon.
    7. Export your edit:
      • Select Video quality.
      • Toggle Remove watermark to remove the watermark from the exported file.
      • Toggle Normalize audio levels to balance sound levels.
      • Toggle Remove background noise to reduce unwanted background noise.
    8. Click Export video.
    9. If you haven't already, follow the instructions in the pop-up to log in to your Facebook account.
    10. The Create Post panel opens.
    11. To connect another Facebook account:

Icon.svg Good to know

  • You can connect and publish to multiple Facebook accounts in each studio.
  • Riverside connects to Facebook Pages only. Posting to personal profiles or Facebook groups isn't supported.
