Publish my episode to Spotify

« To Riverside integrations: Overview

You can now host your podcast on Riverside and automatically distribute episodes to Spotify.

After you use Riverside to record and edit audio or video, publish your exported episodes directly to Spotify. This lets you upload an individual episode directly to Spotify without using an RSS-based distribution setup. After the episode opens in Spotify for Creators, you can add details and publish or schedule it so it becomes available on Spotify.

Step by step

  1. Log in to your Riverside account.
  2. Navigate to the relevant studio.
  3. Select the relevant project.
  4. From the top menu, click Exports.
  5. In the bottom-right corner of the video, click Share.
  6. Under Share to, click ••• [the three dots]
  7. Click the spotify.png Spotify logo.
  8. The Spotify for Creators page opens in a new tab.
  9. Click Get started.
  10. Log into Spotify or create a new account to enter Spotify for Creators.
Your edited recording uploads as a draft episode on creators.spotify.com's Create episode page.
  11. Under Episode Details, enter metadata like the episode's title, description, and publish date.
  12. Click Next.
