Restart a recording in the MacOS desktop app

When recording in the macOS desktop app, you can restart your recording during a session.

Restart recording from the macOS app

Step by step

  1. On a computer, open the Riverside desktop MacOS app.
  2. Log in.
  3. Click Record to start your session.
  4. Click the teleprompter-restart.svg Restart icon.
  5. In the popup, click Restart recording to confirm. 
    A 5-second countdown starts and your recording begins automatically. 

Good to know

  • Restarting a recording is not available when recording in a web browser or in the mobile app. On those devices, you can record multiple takes in the same session. All of your 'takes' are visible at the bottom of your screen, so you can always see what has been recorded so far.
