Hosting: Connect your podcast to listening platforms

« to Hosting: Overview

After setting up your podcast and uploading at least one episode, you can connect your show to listening platforms such as Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and YouTube. Once connected, your episodes will be automatically distributed to listeners on these platforms whenever you publish new content.

If you're importing your podcast to Riverside, follow these steps instead.

  • Both Spotify and Apple Podcasts typically review new submissions to ensure they meet content and formatting guidelines. This review process can take up to a week, though it’s often faster.
  • Once a listening platform is connected, any previously uploaded episodes are automatically published on that platform.
  • We don't recommend submitting your RSS feed to YouTube manually. That workflow is controlled by YouTube and is intended for audio podcasts only. Riverside automatically distributes video episodes to YouTube via a direct API integration. To get started, upload and publish at least one episode and then connect to YouTube.
