« To Share and publish your content: Overview
Share your content straight to TikTok without extra steps. You can publish both exported clips and edits right away, or schedule them to publish at a future date and time. If your clip hasn’t been exported yet, we’ll guide you through the steps before publishing.

Step by step

Publish an export to TikTok
- Log in to your Riverside account.
- Navigate to the relevant studio.
- Select the relevant Project.
- From the top menu, click Exports.
- On the export you want to post, click
Share.
- Click the TikTok icon.
- If you haven't already, follow the instructions in the pop-up to log in to your TikTok account.
- The Create Post panel opens.
- To connect another TikTok account:
- Click the
plus icon under Platforms.
- From the dropdown, select TikTok.
- Follow the instructions in the pop-up to log in.
Every connected account across all platforms is selected by default.
- Click the
- To exclude an account from your post:
- Under Platforms, click the dropdown next to the account.
- Select Exclude from post.
- To choose a thumbnail:
- In the top left corner of the preview window, click the
photo icon.
- Click Choose frame.
- Use the slider at the bottom of the video preview to select the frame to use as your thumbnail.
- Click Save.
- In the top left corner of the preview window, click the
- Add a Caption.
Or click theGenerate caption icon to auto-generate a caption for your post.
- Under Who can watch this video, select your audience from the dropdown.
- Under Allow users to, check any interactions you'd like to allow: Comment, Duet, and/or Stitch.
- Toggle on Disclose video content if your video promotes a brand, product, or service.
- Click Publish.
Your clip is published immediately.

Publish an edit or Magic asset to TikTok
- Log in to your Riverside account.
- Navigate to the relevant studio.
- Select the relevant Project.
- From the top menu, click Edits or Made for you.
- In the bottom-right corner of your edit or Magic asset, click
Share.
- Click the TikTok icon.
- Export your edit:
- Select Video quality.
- Toggle Remove watermark to remove the watermark from the exported file.
- Toggle Normalize audio levels to balance sound levels.
- Toggle Remove background noise to reduce unwanted background noise.
- Click Export video.
- If you haven't already, follow the instructions in the pop-up to log in to your TikTok account.
- The Create Post panel opens.
- To connect another TikTok account:
- Click the
plus icon under Platforms.
- From the dropdown, select TikTok.
- Follow the instructions in the pop-up to log in.

Publish a clip from the iOS app to TikTok
- Open the Riverside iOS App.
- Tap the Clips tab.
- Swipe through your clips to find the one you want to publish.
- Tap Share.
- On the Share your clip screen, wait for Riverside to prepare your clip and generate a caption.
Edit the caption if you want to change it. - Tap the TikTok icon.
Riverside opens TikTok with your clip and caption ready to post. Confirm the post from your TikTok mobile app.
Good to know
- Publishing to TikTok is not available for clips that contain a Riverside watermark.
- You can connect and publish to multiple TikTok accounts in each studio.
- On TikTok, thumbnails can only be set by selecting a frame from your content. You cannot upload a file to use as the thumbnail.
- Publishing a clip from the Clips tab from mobile is currently available on the Riverside iOS App only.
- Clips you publish from the mobile app post immediately.
