After recording on the mobile app, AI identifies the highlights of your recording and automatically turns them into standalone, media-friendly clips that you can tailor in the editor. You can preview, edit, rename, delete, and export Magic Clips directly from the mobile app.

Magic clips on mobile

Rename a Magic Clip

  1. Press and hold the Magic Clip you want to rename. 
  2. Tap Rename.
  3. Type in the new name.
  4. In the top right corner, tap Done.

Edit a Magic Clip

  1. Press and hold the Magic Clip you want to edit.
  2. Tap Edit.
  3. Trim, remove a word or phrase, add captions, change the aspect ratio, and remove pauses. 

Export a Magic Clip

  1. Press and hold the Magic Clip you want to export.
  2. Tap Export.

Remove a Magic Clip

  1. Press and hold the Magic Clip you want to remove.
  2. Tap Remove.
  3. Under Remove clip? tap Remove.

  • To generate Magic Clips on mobile, the recording session must be longer than 5 minutes.

  • Web Magic Clips are not accessible in the mobile app, and mobile Magic Clips are not accessible in the web editor.
