After recording on the mobile app, AI identifies the highlights of your recording and automatically turns them into standalone, media-friendly clips that you can tailor in the editor. You can preview, edit, rename, delete, and export Clips directly from the mobile app. You can also share clips directly to social media for easy promotion.

Edit a Magic Clip

• Edit your Magic Clip on the iOS mobile app

  1. Tap the Magic Clip you want to edit.
  2. Click the edit icon.
  3. At the bottom of the screen, tap the Ask Co-Creator text field.
  4. Use the Riverside Co-Creator to edit your clip.

• Edit your Magic Clip on the Android mobile app

  1. Press and hold the Magic Clip you want to edit.
  2. Tap Edit.
  3. Trim, remove a word or phrase, add captions, change the aspect ratio, and remove pauses. 

Rename a Magic Clip

1. Press and hold the Magic Clip you want to rename. 
2. Tap Rename.
3. Type in the new name.
4. In the top right corner, tap Done.

Export a Magic Clip

1. Press and hold the Magic Clip you want to export.
2. Tap Export.

Remove a Magic Clip

1. Press and hold the Magic Clip you want to remove.
2. Tap Remove.
3. Under Remove clip? tap Remove.

Good to know

• To generate Magic Clips on mobile, the recording session must be longer than 5 minutes.

• On the iOS mobile app, you can access Clips either from the For you tab in a Project or from the Clips tab.
