Automatically generate assets after recording

Choose which assets Riverside creates after every recording, and customize how each one is generated.

Choose which assets generate automatically

  1. Log in to your Riverside account.
  2. Navigate to the relevant studio.
  3. Select the relevant project.
  4. From the top menu, click Made for You.
  5. Click Personalize.
  6. Select the Workflows tab.
  7. Next to each asset, choose when it runs:
    • To generate it automatically after every recording, click the Auto-generate.svg auto-generate icon.
    • To stop generating it automatically, click the off icon.

  • Magic segments: 10 minute reels
  • Episode title: an SEO-friendly title for your episode
  • Episode description: a ready-to-use description for your episode
  • Top insights: key takeaways from your conversation
  • Instagram caption: a caption for your post
  • X thread: a ready-to-post X thread
  • LinkedIn post: a post for LinkedIn

Customize a video asset

To set ratio, layout, branding, and editing preferences for each video asset, click the down arrow next to it on the Workflows tab. For step-by-step instructions, see:

Customize a text asset

Text assets are Show notes, Newsletter, Episode title, Episode description, Top insights, Instagram caption, X thread, and LinkedIn post.

  1. In the Workflows tab, next to the asset, click the chevron-down.svg down arrow to open its prompt panel.
  2. In the text field, enter instructions for tone of voice, structure, or what to include. 
    To use Riverside's optimized prompt, leave the field blank.
  3. Click Save.

Icon.svg Good to know

  • Workflow settings apply to every new recording in the studio.

  • Turning off an asset doesn't delete anything already created. It only stops new versions from generating automatically.

  • Newsletter auto-generation replaced the previous Blog Post workflow in the Personalize hub. If you had custom instructions saved for Blog Post, check the Newsletter workflow to confirm they still match what you want.
  • Sending the finished newsletter to your subscribers still requires an active Newsletter set up on your Riverside website.
