Riverside's AI show notes are text summaries you can use to create a description, keywords, episode chapters, or social copy.

AI show notes are automatically generated for each Magic Episode after a recording is completed. You can also manually generate show notes for individual recordings or exports to reflect your final edit.

Access AI show notes for a Magic Episode

AI show notes are automatically generated with a Magic Episode shortly after a recording is completed. 

  1. Log in to your Riverside account.
  2. Navigate to the relevant studio.
  3. Select the relevant project.
  1. From the top menu, click Made for You.
  2. On the right side of the screen, click Generate show notes.
  3. To copy a section to your clipboard, hover over the text and click the copy.svg copy icon.
    To copy all the show notes, click Copy in the top-right corner.

Generate AI show notes for a recording

You can manually generate AI show notes for an individual recording within a project. These notes reflect the original, unedited version of your session.

  1. Log in to your Riverside account.
  2. Navigate to the relevant studio.
  3. Select the relevant project.
  1. From the top menu, click Recordings.
  2. Find the relevant recording.
  3. Hover over the video preview of the recording and, in the top left corner, click Ask AI.
  4. Click Show notes.
    Riverside analyzes your conversation and generates notes.
  5. To copy a section to your clipboard, hover over the text and click the copy.svg copy icon.
    To copy all the show notes, click Copy in the top-right corner.

Generate AI show notes for an export

You can manually generate AI Show Notes for your exported edit, reflecting all your edits and additions and tailored to your episode’s final version.

  1. Log in to your Riverside account.
  2. Navigate to the relevant studio.
  3. Select the relevant project.
  1. From the top menu, click Exports.
  2. Hover over the video preview of the relevant export and, in the top left corner, click Ask AI.
  3. Click Show notes.
    Riverside analyzes your conversation and generates notes.
  4. To copy a section to your clipboard, hover over the text and click the copy.svg copy icon.
    To copy all the show notes, click Copy in the top-right corner.

  • To generate Show Notes, the recording or export must be longer than 5 minutes and include a transcript. The notes use your studio's default transcription language.
  • Depending on the content of your recording, the show notes include: 
    • Summary
    • Keywords / SEO tags
    • Takeaways
    • Sound Bites
    • Chapter titles and timestamps
  • If you delete a Magic Episode, the Show Notes connected to it are also removed from the Made for you tab.
