Enable video episodes on Apple Podcasts and publish video content directly to Apple Podcasts listeners.

Step by step
To enable video episodes on Apple Podcasts, first claim your podcast.
- Log in to your Riverside account.
- Navigate to the relevant studio.
- From the sidebar on the left, click Hosting.
- At the top of the screen, click Apple Podcasts.
- Select Enable video episodes.
- In the Enable video episodes panel, copy the Feed URL.
- Click Apple Podcasts Connect.
You are redirected to https://podcastsconnect.apple.com/landing. - Log in or sign up to your Apple Podcasts Connect account.
- In the footer, click Contact Us.
- Under Topic, select HLS Video.
- Enter your Apple Podcasts Show ID and Feed URL.
- Submit the request to Apple.
- Wait for Apple's confirmation email.
Apple can take up to 2 weeks to review your request. - In Apple Podcasts Connect, click Account.
- Click the Keys tab.
- Next to Active, click the Plus + button.
- Enter a name for the API key.
- Download the API key.
- Return to Riverside and upload the API key.
- Click Submit.
After the API key is uploaded, new video episodes are automatically published to Apple Podcasts. Emoji reactions float briefly on top of the video tiles.
Good to know
- Publishing video to Apple Podcasts attaches the video to your existing episode listings. Listeners see a single show page with both video and audio options, and can switch between them at any point during playback.
- Video publishing applies to episodes published after you enable video. Previously published episodes will not have video added to them.
