Allow browser notifications from Riverside

« To Studio privacy: Overview

Allow Riverside to send you browser notifications so you can receive important alerts, for instance, if a Guest joins your Studio with a browser or device that Riverside does not support.

Allowing notifications also increases the temporary storage space Riverside uses to store your local recording before it uploads.

• Chrome and Edge

  1. In your computer browser, open a page on Riverside such as https://riverside.com/upload.
  2. In the browser's address bar, click the lock icon.
  3. Next to Notifications, click the toggle (if using Chrome) or select Allow (if using Edge).
      

  TIPS:
  Click the lock icon (🔒) in your browser's address bar at any time to confirm or change website permissions.

• Safari

  1. In the top left corner of your Mac, choose the Apple menu.
  2. Click System Settings.
  3. Click Notifications in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)
  4. Under Application Notifications, find Riverside Studio.
  5. Toggle on Allow Notifications.
