The host or producer can start and stop the recording in the studio.

Using a computer
- Log in to your Riverside account on a web browser, the Mac OS app, or the Riverside mobile app.
- Join a studio as the host or producer.
- At the bottom of the studio, click
Record.
The host and any guests are recorded. - To stop the recording, click
Stop.
The recording tracks upload and you can view them by clicking Go to project.

Using a phone
- Using your mobile device, download and launch the Riverside mobile app.
- At the bottom of the screen, tap + Create.
- Tap
Record.
- Tap Join to enter the studio.
- At the bottom of your screen, choose your recording mode:
- Together: Record with a guest or a producer
- Solo: Record alone
- Audio: Record audio only (disable all video)
- Live: Start or stop a live stream
- At the bottom of your screen, tap the
record button.
- To stop the recording, tap
Stop.
Good to know
- Producers can start and stop the recording only when using Riverside from the web browser.
- You can start and stop a recording multiple times in a studio session to create different recording takes.
- When you stop a scheduled session before the designated end time, your audience members are redirected back to the lobby. If you start the session again before the designated end time, the scheduled session restarts.
- Recordings end automatically after 10 hours (without hosts or producers) as long as a guest is in the studio.
