« To Studio settings: Recording
By default, Riverside records both audio and video in the studio. To record only participants' audio, follow the steps below.

Using a computer
Before a studio session
- Log in to your Riverside account.
- In the relevant studio, from the sidebar on the left, click
settings icon.
- From the tabs at the top, click Recording.
- Next to Recording mode, select either Video & audio or Audio.
During a studio session
- Log in to your Riverside account.
- Join a studio as the host or as a producer.
- From the studio sidebar, click
Settings.
If you're using the Mac app, the app opens your settings in a browser window. - Next to Recording mode, select either Video & audio or Audio.

Using a phone
- Download and launch the Riverside mobile app.
- At the bottom of the screen, tap + Create.
- Tap
Record.
- Tap Join to enter the studio.
- At the bottom of your screen, from the recording modes, choose Audio.
Good to know
- You receive high quality separate audio tracks for each participant and the video tracks of any media shared during the recording, including screen shares, media board videos, and presentations.
- You can edit the audio recording in the editor, along with the video of shared media.
- You receive the back-up cloud recording of the live studio session, which includes both the audio and video of exactly what you saw in the Riverside studio during the recording session.
- A participant with their camera on can still be seen during the live recording when you record in audio-only mode.
