« To Media Board and screen sharing: Overview
Play videos, images, music, or sound effects from the Media Board during a live recording session.
Step by step
- Join a studio as a host or producer.
- From the sidebar on the right, click
Media.
Follow the steps below to play each media type.
Videos & images
- Click on a video or image thumbnail to play the media file in the live session.
- To loop a video:
- Hover over the video thumbnail and click the
Loop icon.
- To disable video loop, hover over the video thumbnail and click the
Unloop icon.
When video loop is enabled, the video restarts automatically as soon as it reaches the end until you Unloop or stop the video.
- Hover over the video thumbnail and click the
- From the sidebar, click the
Stop & hide icon on the media's thumbnail to stop sharing the video or image.
Music
- Click the
play button to the left of the music file to play it.
- Adjust the volume of the music file by dragging the slider next to the
volume icon.
- To fade a track in and out when you play it during a live session, click the
Fade icon.
- To play the music track on repeat, click the
Loop icon.
- Click the
pause button to stop playing the track.
Sound effects
- Click on a sound effect tile to play it in the live session.
- Adjust the volume of the sound effect by dragging the slider next to the
- Click the sound effect tile again to stop playing it.
Good to know
- Clicking a video or image, music file, or sound effect immediately plays the media in the session.
- Multiple files can play at the same time, including:
- Multiple sound effects
- A sound effect and a music track
- A sound effect or music track alongside a video or image
- Only one music track and one video or image can play at a time.
- A video set to loop stays on its Media Board tile until you stop the video. A video that isn't looped clears from the tile automatically once it ends.
