When you hear a great moment of conversation in the studio, add a marker and a comment. A marker added during recording will appear as a comment in the editor, serving as a reference point where you can later add text or notes as needed.

Step by step
- Join a studio on a computer as the host, a guest, or a producer.
- After the host starts the recording, click the
Marker icon at the bottom of the studio.
Or use the keyboard shortcut M to to add a marker. - (Optional) Add a comment to the marker and click Enter to save it.
Add or edit text to a marker in the editor
- On the right side of the transcript, click the marker, which appears as a comment icon.
Or, on the timeline, click the marker bubble.
- Under the existing comment, labeled with its marker number, enter your text.
- Click Reply.
Good to know
- Users on a Riverside for Business account can also include the markers when exporting their recording to Adobe Premiere Pro.
