« To Invite your participants: Overview
Inviting audience members to your live recording is a great way to host a webinar and easily broadcast your session to viewers.
Up to 200 audience members can view the recording in the Riverside studio in real time, participate in the live chat, and request to join the live recording.
Some Business accounts can enable users to register for a session or to invite up to 10,000 audience members.

Step by step
- Log in to your Riverside account on a web browser.
- On the left side of the page, click the
invite icon to Invite to record.
- In the Invite People pop-up, under Share a link, select Audience.
- Click Copy link.
- Distribute the audience invite link.

Before the session, turn on
the public audience link so audience members can enter the studio to watch the live recording.
- Click Go live to start the recording.
Once the recording begins, the audience sees the host and guests in the studio.
Good to know
- The audience link is a generic studio link that is always valid and does not expire. Only when the public audience link is disabled, access is restricted.
- Note that if audience members register for the session, then their access link is only valid during the time of the scheduled event.
- No one can see the audience members' videos. However, the host, producers, and audience members can see the total number of audience members in the studio.
- Audience members can watch the live stream from their computer on Chrome or Edge. They can also join using Safari and the mobile app, but live call-ins are not supported on these channels.
- Audience members can participate in the live chat and request to join the live recording.
