Using a computer
- Log in to your Riverside account.
- Join a studio as the host.
- Start recording.

Using a phone
iOS
- Using an iPhone, download and launch the Riverside mobile app.
- At the bottom of the screen, tap + Create.
- Tap
Record.
- Tap Join to enter the studio.
- At the bottom of your screen, from the recording modes, swipe to choose Solo.
- At the bottom of your screen, tap the
record button.
Android
- Using an Android, download and launch the Riverside mobile app.
- At the bottom of the screen, tap + Create.
- Tap
Record.
- Tap Solo.
- At the bottom of your screen, tap the
record button.

Using macOS desktop app
- Download and open the MacOS desktop app.
- To the right of Screen, click the arrow to and select what you want to record from the dropdown:
- Screen: Record a specific screen
- Window: Record an entire window
- Cam-only: Record only your video and audio

If this is your first time sharing your screen, macOS will prompt you to allow screen access.
Click Allow or Open System Settings.-
If necessary, follow these steps to allow permissions within your System Settings.

Click the
Visual effects icon to add a blur or background.
- Click Record Screen.
Riverside records your screen share as a high quality local track.
