How can I check how many core processors my computer has?

When you record with Riverside, it uses your computer's processor to save your high quality track and then upload that data to the cloud.

  • For recording videos, we recommend using a computer with 8 or more physical processing cores.
  • For audio-only recordings, use a computer with 4 or more physical processing cores.

To check the number of processing cores your computer has:

  • Mac – Open System Information report
  • Windows – Open Task Manager
