Preview a recording

Once you finish recording, quickly view the footage on your dashboard before opening it in the editor.

The preview of the recording includes all tracks that have finished uploading and processing.

Step by step

Follow the steps below based on if you're using a computer or your mobile device.

  1. Preview a recording using a computer

    1. Log in to your Riverside account.
    2. Navigate to the relevant studio.
    3. Select the relevant project.
    4. From the top menu, click Recordings.
    5. Scroll down to the relevant recording.
    6. Hover over the recording preview and click the Play.svg Play icon.

  2. Preview a recording using your phone

    1. Download and launch the Riverside mobile app.
    2. Tap the top left corner to open the studio side panel.
    3. Tap on the relevant studio.
    4. Next to the relevant recording's thumbnail, tap the Play.svg Play icon.

  • To view the recording in full screen, open it in the editor.
  • Recording previews are low-resolution versions of your recording. The quality of your recording will improve when you export it.
