Adjust the playback speed in the editor to streamline your editing process. Speed up playback to review long recordings quickly, or slow it down to fine-tune your edits.

Step by step
- Log in to your Riverside account.
- Open a recording in the editor or upload an external file to start editing.
- To the left of the play button, click the Playback speed (i.e. 1x).
- From the dropdown menu, select a new playback speed.
- Click Play to preview your video at the selected speed.
Good to know
- Adjusting the playback speed in the editor is for preview purposes only and does not affect the final export.
- To move 5 seconds forward in your video, click the
jump forward icon or press J. To move 5 seconds backward, click the
jump backward icon or press L.
