Disable external sharing

Disable external sharing to prevent content from being shared outside your account. This helps you maintain stricter control over sensitive recordings and files. 

Step by step

1. Log in to your Riverside account.
2. In the bottom left corner, click the account menu button.
3. Click the Settings icon.
4. Under Team, click Permissions.
5. Next to Admins and team members can share external links to content, click the toggle to turn it off.
   When the toggle is   off ,sharing content outside the account is disabled for everyone, and all share options display the message External sharing is locked by your admin.
   When the toggle is on, admins and team members can share links to content outside the account.

Good to know

• When external sharing is disabled, team members cannot share links to projects, recordings, edits, or exports externally. They also cannot publish directly to social media platforms.

• Disabling external sharing does not apply to Hosting.
