Set up your brand kit in the Personalize hub to apply consistent logos, colors, text styles, captions, and media across every edit in your studio. This ensures a consistent look that reflects your brand across all your content.

Step by step

  1. Log in to your Riverside account.
  2. Open a recording in the editor or upload an external file to start editing.
  3. In the top-left corner of the screen, click the Proj nav panel.svg sidebar icon.
  4. At the top of the panel, click Brand
  5. Click the brand category below to see the steps to set it up.
  1. Set up default logo settings to streamline your workflow and maintain consistent branding across all your content.
    1. Under Logos, click the + Add logo window to choose an image you already uploaded or click Upload to select an image to upload from your device. 
      The image must be 128 × 72 pixels and a JPG or PNG file.  
    2. Click Logo settings to customize the position and opacity.
    3. To set a logo as default for your brand, click  ••• [the three dots] and click Set as default.
    4. To remove the logo, hover over the tile, click  ••• [the three dots], and click Delete.
  2. Set up your brand's color palette for easy access to predefined colors, ensuring a unified visual style across all team projects.
    1. Under Colors, click + and choose the color or add the Hex code (e.g. #0000FF)
      • Add up to 5 colors to the palette.
      • The Join now button in your studio's lobby is set from the color palette. Depending on what colors you choose, this may affect the button's readability.
    2. To remove a color, hover over the relevant color tile and click the X button.
  3. Set up your brand's default text styles and easily access them through the text panel while editing.
    1. Under Text Styles, select a preset from the available options.
      Or click Add text style.
    2. Set the text style's name, font, size, typeface (style), and color.
    3. To animate the text style, click the box next to Animation.
    4. From the animation panel, choose In to animate text as it enters
      Or Out to animate it as it exits.
    5. Pick an animation preset from the available options.
    6. In the animation panel, under Duration, drag the scrubber to adjust the animation’s length or manually enter a precise value of up to 5 seconds.
    7. Click the checkmark.svg save icon.
  4. Set up a design for your brand, including a background frame, default corner styles, and default spacing.
    1. Scroll down to the Design section.
    2. Above Background, click + to choose an existing image.
      Or click Upload to select a file from your device.
    3. Above Corner, click the corner radius icon and drag the slider to make the corners more sharp or rounded.
    4. Above Spacing, click the Spacing icon and drag the slider to control the space between video tiles, from none to the maximum amount.
  5. Set up default caption styles for each aspect ratio to guarantee the captions look great across all formats.
    1. Under Captions, click + Add caption to add caption styles.
    2. To set a caption style as default for your brand, click  ••• [the three dots] and click Set as default.
    3. To remove a caption style from your brand, hover over Captions in the Brand panel, click  ••• [the three dots], and select Delete.
  6. Add video, image or audio files to be used across your edits.
    1. Under Brand media, click + to choose an existing video, image, or audio file.
      Or click Upload to select a file from your device. 
    2. To remove media from your brand, hover over the tile and click trash.svg the trash icon.

Once you set up your branding, apply the brand to your edit.
