Follow these steps when:
- You see the error:
- "There’s an issue with this file, please choose another one" when uploading a podcast episode, a file to the editor, or a file to your Riverside dashboard
Likely causes:
The file you’re trying to use is corrupted or incompatible, which means Riverside cannot process it as-is. There is no way to repair the file within Riverside, so you’ll need to upload a corrected version.
Suggested troubleshooting steps
- Make sure your file meets the requirements. See the following articles for supported file types and requirements:
- Hosting: Each file must be under 10 GB and shorter than 180 minutes.
- Supported external media file types and requirements
- Media Board: Supported files
If you have an alternate version of the file, upload that instead.
Open the file in the Riverside editor or another editing tool, then export it again.
