Once you’ve imported your episodes, redirect your RSS feed so listening platforms like Apple Podcasts and Spotify pull your episodes from Riverside instead of your previous hosting provider.
Plan: Pro, Live, Webinar, and Business
Device: Computer browser
Step by step
Before redirecting your RSS feed, you must import your existing episodes into Riverside.
Make sure all your episodes were imported before moving forward.
- Log in to your Riverside account.
- Navigate to the relevant studio.
- From the sidebar on the left, click Hosting.
- Next to Switch your feed to Riverside, click Set up redirect.
-
Under Copy your Riverside RSS URL, click Copy.
-
Go to your old hosting provider and paste the new Riverside RSS URL into the redirect field.
It can take from a few minutes up to 24 hours for the change to take effect. -
Click Check redirect.
Riverside checks for the redirect and notifies you once it’s complete. - Once you see Your RSS is now redirected to Riverside, go ahead and confirm your existing connections with listening platforms and connect your show to new ones.
Good to know
- Riverside does not support RSS prefixes.
