Hosting: Redirect your RSS feed to Riverside

« to Import existing podcast

Once you’ve imported your episodes, redirect your RSS feed so listening platforms like Apple Podcasts and Spotify pull your episodes from Riverside instead of your previous hosting provider.

Step by step

Before redirecting your RSS feed, you must import your existing episodes into Riverside.

Make sure all your episodes were imported before moving forward.

  1. Log in to your Riverside account.
  2. Navigate to the relevant studio.
  3. From the sidebar on the left, click Hosting.
  1. Next to Switch your feed to Riverside, click Set up redirect
  2. Under Copy your Riverside RSS URL, click Copy.

  3. Go to your old hosting provider and paste the new Riverside RSS URL into the redirect field.
It can take from a few minutes up to 24 hours for the change to take effect.

  4. Click Check redirect.
Riverside checks for the redirect and notifies you once it’s complete.

  5. Once you see Your RSS is now redirected to Riverside, go ahead and confirm your existing connections with listening platforms and connect your show to new ones.
