Hosting: What happens to my Spotify analytics when I move to Riverside hosting?

« to Import existing podcast

Spotify is a listening platform, while Spotify for Creators is Spotify’s creator suite that includes podcast hosting.

When you migrate a podcast from Spotify for Creators hosting to Riverside hosting, Riverside does not import your existing Spotify for Creators analytics, such as in-platform listener, stream, or demographic data. This isn’t unique to Spotify for Creators; When you switch hosting providers, your previous analytics stay with your old host.

After you redirect your podcast to Riverside hosting and confirm its connection to Spotify’s listening platform, Riverside begins collecting new analytics.

Spotify listening data is included under the Top apps metric, which shows both the number of streams and the percentage breakdown for each listening platform. This is basic listening data and does not include in-depth Spotify demographic or engagement analytics, as those remain in Spotify for Creators, your previous hosting provider.
