« To Share and publish your content: Overview
Share your content straight to Instagram without extra steps. You can publish both exported clips and edits right away, or schedule them to publish at a future date and time. If your clip hasn’t been exported yet, we’ll guide you through the steps before publishing.

Step by step

Publish an export to Instagram
- Log in to your Riverside account.
- Navigate to the relevant studio.
- Select the relevant Project.
- From the top menu, click Exports.
- On the export you want to post, click
Share.
- Click the Instagram icon.
- If you haven't already, follow the instructions in the pop-up to log in to your Instagram account.
- The Create Post panel opens.
- To connect another Instagram account:
- Click the
plus icon under Platforms.
- From the dropdown, select Instagram.
- Follow the instructions in the pop-up to log in.
Every connected account across all platforms is selected by default.
- Click the
- To exclude an account from your post:
- Under Platforms, click the dropdown next to the account.
- Select Exclude from post.
- To add a custom thumbnail:
- In the top left corner of the preview window, click the
photo icon.
- Click Upload image.
- In the file picker, choose a JPG or PNG image from your computer.
Thumbnails must be 2MB or smaller.
- In the top left corner of the preview window, click the
- Add a Caption.
Or click theGenerate caption icon to auto-generate a caption for your post.

Under Feed,
toggle on Also post reel to main feed to share the Reel to:
- The creator's Reels tab
- The creator's profile grid
- Followers' home Feed
- May also be distributed through Instagram's Reels and discovery surfaces
If
toggled off, the Reel will only appear in the creator's Reels tab and may still be distributed through Reels and discovery surfaces.
- Click Publish.
Your clip is published immediately.

Publish an edit or Magic asset to Instagram
- Log in to your Riverside account.
- Navigate to the relevant studio.
- Select the relevant Project.
- From the top menu, click Edits or Made for you.
- In the bottom-right corner of your edit or Magic asset, click
Share.
- Click the Instagram icon.
- Export your edit:
- Select Video quality.
- Toggle Remove watermark to remove the watermark from the exported file.
- Toggle Normalize audio levels to balance sound levels.
- Toggle Remove background noise to reduce unwanted background noise.
- Click Export video.
- If you haven't already, follow the instructions in the pop-up to log in to your Instagram account.
- The Create Post panel opens.
- To connect another Instagram account:
- Click the
plus icon under Platforms.
- From the dropdown, select Instagram.
- Follow the instructions in the pop-up to log in.

Good to know
- You can connect and publish to multiple Instagram accounts in each studio.
- Publishing to Instagram is only available for Instagram Business or Creator accounts. Personal accounts are not supported.
