Schedule and publish Reels to Instagram using the Content planner, and manage upcoming posts in one calendar.

Step by step
- Log in to your Riverside account.
- Navigate to the relevant studio.
- From the sidebar on the left, click Planner.
- In the top right corner of the date you want to schedule your post on, click the
plus icon.
- Click Social media post.
- In the side panel, under the platform dropdown, select Instagram.
- If you haven't already, follow the instructions in the pop-up to log in to your Instagram account.
- Click the
plus icon in the Preview window to select the file you want to upload.
- Select from the files in your studio, or click Upload to select an external file from your computer or hard dive.
- To add a custom thumbnail:
- In the top left corner of the preview window, click the
photo icon.
- Click Upload image.
- In the file picker, choose a JPG or PNG image from your computer.
Thumbnails must be 2MB or smaller.
- In the top left corner of the preview window, click the
- Add a Caption.
Or, click theGenerate icon to generate an AI caption.

Under Feed,
toggle on Also post reel to main feed to share the Reel to:
- The creator's Reels tab
- The creator's profile grid
- Followers' home Feed
- May also be distributed through Instagram's Reels and discovery surfaces
If
toggled off, the Reel will only appear in the creator's Reels tab and may still be distributed through Reels and discovery surfaces.
- Under Account, choose the relevant Instagram account from the dropdown.
- Click Schedule.
Edit a scheduled post
- In the Planner, click the relevant post to open the sidebar.
- In the bottom right corner, click Edit post.
- Make any desired changes to your post and click Save.
Delete a scheduled post
- In the Planner, click the relevant post to open the sidebar.
- In the top right corner of the sidebar, click the ••• [the three dots].
- Click Remove post.
Good to know
- Publishing to Instagram is only available for Instagram Business or Creator accounts. Personal accounts are not supported.
- You can only log into one Instagram account per studio.
- If you log out of your Instagram account, any scheduled posts will be removed and will not be published to Instagram.
