Schedule and publish content to LinkedIn using the Content Planner, and manage upcoming posts in one calendar.

Schedule a social post to Linkedin

Step by step

  1. Log in to your Riverside account.
  2. Navigate to the relevant studio.
  3. From the sidebar on the left, click Planner.
  1. In the top right corner of the date you want to schedule your post on, click the plus.svg plus icon.
  2. Click Social media post
  3. If you haven't already, follow the instructions in the pop-up to log in to your LinkedIn account. 
  4. Click + to select the exported file. 
  5. Add a Description.
    Or, click the Generate icon to generate an AI description.
    This text will appear in LinkedIn’s Description field.
  6. Under Visibility, choose between the following:
    • Anyone: Anyone on or off LinkedIn
    • Connections only: Only your connections on LinkedIn
  7. Choose the date and time when you want the post to publish. 
  8. Click Schedule

Edit a scheduled post

  1. In the Planner, click the relevant post to open the sidebar. 
  2. In the bottom right corner, click Edit post
  3. Make any desired changes to your post and click Save

Delete a scheduled post

  1. In the Planner, click the relevant post to open the sidebar. 
  2. In the top right corner of the sidebar, click the ••• [the three dots].
  3. Click Remove post.  

Good to know Icon.svg Good to know

  • You can only schedule exported clips to post to LinkedIn.
  • You can only log into one LinkedIn account per studio. 
  • If you log out of your LinkedIn account, any scheduled posts will be removed and will not be published to LinkedIn.
  • You can only publish to personal LinkedIn pages, not company pages.
