Track how each of your published social posts is performing, with essential data on views, likes, comments, and shares to help you understand how your content is landing on each platform. View this data for any published post directly from its side panel in the Content planner.

Analytics are currently only available for YouTube and X posts.
Step by step
- Log in to your Riverside account.
- Navigate to the relevant studio.
- From the sidebar on the left, click Planner.
- Click the published social post you want to view analytics for.
The post must already be published. Scheduled or draft posts don't have analytics yet. - In the side panel, click the Analytics tab.
Understanding the social post analytics
These metrics let you see how each of your published social posts is actually performing without opening all within Riverside. Use this data to spot which posts and platforms are resonating, decide what to publish next, and catch a post that isn't landing before you invest more effort promoting it elsewhere.
Views
The Views metric shows total views for the post over the selected time range, plotted on a chart.
Use the dropdown next to the chart to choose a time range: 7d (7 days), 30d (30 days), 6m (6 months), 12m (12 months), or Total.
Views isn't available for X posts, since X doesn't expose a public view count.
Likes
The Likes metric shows how many people liked the post. On X, this metric works the same way and is also labeled Likes.
Comments
The Comments metric shows how many comments the post received. On X, this metric is labeled Replies.
Shares
The Shares metric shows how many times the post was shared. On X, this metric is labeled Reposts. Shares isn't available for YouTube posts, since YouTube doesn't expose that data publicly.
Good to know
- Analytics are only available for posts published after you re-authenticate your social media accounts for this feature. Posts published before this won't show any data.
- Right after you publish, it can take a short while for analytics to start collecting.
