Rename a recording in the studio

The host can rename individual recordings within a studio dashboard. 

Step by step

Follow the steps below based on if you're using a computer or your mobile device.

• Rename a recording using a computer

  Before or during a recording

  1. Join a studio as the host or as a producer.
  2. In the bar at the top of the screen, click the current name of the recording. 
  3. In the textbox, type a new name for the recording.
     
     

• Rename a recording using your phone

  1. Open a recording from the Riverside mobile app.
  2. In the center of the screen, tap ••• [the three dots].
  3. Tap Rename.
  4. Tap Done.

Good to know

• By default, each recording uses the names of the host and an increasing number (session 2, session 3, etc).
• You can also rename the recording session when you leave the studio.
