Rename a studio

« To Studio settings: General

Give your studio a unique name to help your guests recognize it and help you keep your recordings organized. You can also name individual recordings during a live call.

Step by step

Follow the steps below based on if you're using a computer or your mobile device.

  • Rename your studio using a computer

    Before a studio session

    1. Log in to your Riverside account.
      If you have multiple studios, select the relevant studio.
    2. From the sidebar on the left, click the settings icon.
    3. Click Studio settings.
    4. Click General.
    5. Under Studio Info, type in a new studio Name.

    During a studio session

    1. Join a studio session as the host or as a producer on a web browser or the Mac OS app.

    2. From the studio sidebar, click 

      Settings icon.
    3. Click Open all settings at the bottom of the panel.
      • The Mac OS app opens the settings in a new browser window.
    4. Click General.
    5. Under Studio Info, type in a new studio Name.

    Changing a studio's name does not change its URL or any studio invite links used to invite participants.

  • Rename a studio using your phone

    1. Download and launch the Riverside mobile app.
    2. Next to the relevant studio, tap ••• [the three dots].
    3. Tap Studio settings.
    4. Type in a new Studio name.
    5. In the top right corner, tap Save.
      Changing a studio's name does not change its URL or any studio invite links used to invite participants.
