Copy transcript with timestamps

« To Transcriptions: Overview

You can download transcriptions from Riverside in two formats: as a TXT text file, or as an SRT subtitle file with timestamps every few seconds.

To copy the transcript with timestamps marked whenever a new participant begins speaking, follow the steps below.

  • Steps on a computer

    1. Log in to your Riverside account.
    2. Navigate to the relevant studio.
    3. Select the relevant project.
    4. From the top menu, click Recordings.
    5. Scroll down to the relevant recording.
    6. Under Tracks, next to the Transcript, click copy-transcript.svg Copy.
The recording's full transcript is copied to your computer's clipboard.

After pasting it into a text editor, the copied transcription format looks like this:

    2. In the top right of the transcript window, tap  ••• [the three dots].
