- Audio is a higher or lower pitch in the high-quality track than it was in the studio

- Check whether the studio was set to 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz and if that matches the sample rate of the microphone used.
- On a Mac, use Audio MIDI Setup to check your input's sample rate ("Format").
- On a PC, right-click the sound icon in the Windows taskbar and access the input's Device properties. Under Format, select a different rate.

- If you recorded with an audio interface or virtual device, confirm that none its built-in audio effects are active.
