Magic Audio uses AI to enhance the sound quality of recordings you've created or uploaded to Riverside. Apply Magic Audio to individual audio tracks in the editor and adjust the intensity by balancing each track's raw audio with its Magic Audio version. You can also download Magic Audio-enhanced high-quality tracks.

Step by step

  1. Log in to your Riverside account.
  2. Open a recording in the editor or upload an external file to start editing.
  1. On the editor toolbar, click people_users-03.svg Tracks.
  2. Next to a participant's name, click the chevron-right.svg arrow.
  3. Next to Magic Audio, toggle on toggle-on.svg.
    Magic audio is applied to the participant's track.
    To undo Magic Audio, click Revert to original.

Adjust Magic Audio intensity

After applying Magic Audio to a participant's track, you can adjust the intensity to balance the enhanced audio with the original recording, ensuring optimal sound quality and a natural tone.

  1. On the editor toolbar, click people_users-03.svg Tracks.
  2. Next to a participant's name, click the chevron-right.svg arrow.
  3. Next to Magic Audio, adjust the percentage value by dragging the handle between 0% and 100% to balance each track’s raw audio with its Magic Audio track.
    Or, manually enter a precise percentage value.

Download Magic Audio high-quality tracks

  1. Log in to your Riverside account.
  2. Click the relevant project.
  3. Under Recordings, click on a recording.
  4. On the recording's page, scroll to Recording files.
  5. Next to the desired participant's track, click High quality.
  6. Select Magic Audio.

    The downloaded high-quality track is 100% enhanced with Magic Audio, and its intensity cannot be adjusted.

Icon.svg Good to know

  • This feature is available for all users to try. However, only Pro, Live, Webinar and Business users can export their edits with the enhanced audio.
  • Riverside can create Magic Audio for recordings you made and files you uploaded after January 14, 2024. If you want to hear how an older recording sounds with Magic Audio, export and upload it.
  • When Magic Audio is toggled on, Normalize Audio and Remove Background Noise options are unavailable.
  • Magic Audio is supported on participant audio tracks and external uploads. It cannot be applied to screen share tracks.
