« To Magic Audio tracks: Overview
Magic Audio uses AI to improve the sound quality of a recording that you recorded or uploaded to Riverside. Apply Magic Audio to all tracks in your recording and adjust the intensity by balancing each track's raw audio with its Magic Audio version.
Step by step

Using a computer browser
- Log in to your Riverside account.
- Open a recording in the editor or upload an external file to start editing.
- On the editor toolbar, click AI tools.
- In the panel, go to Magic Audio.
- Click Apply.
Magic audio is applied to all audio tracks in the recording.
To undo Magic Audio, click Revert to original.

Using the iOS mobile app
- Open a recording from the iOS mobile app.
- At the bottom of the screen, tap the Ask Co-Creator text field.
- Use the Riverside Co-Creator to apply Magic audio to your clip.

Using the Android mobile app
On the Android mobile app, you can create new edits, but you are not able to make changes to in-progress edits made on a computer.
Apply in the editor
- Open a recording from the Riverside mobile app.
- Tap the
AI Tools icon at the bottom of the screen.
- Toggle on
Magic audio.
Apply when exporting
- Open a recording from the Riverside mobile app.
- In the top right corner, tap
export.
- Toggle on
Magic audio.
Processing may take a few minutes.
Adjust Magic Audio intensity (Desktop)
After applying Magic Audio to all tracks in your recording, you can adjust each participant's track to balance the enhanced audio with the original recording, ensuring optimal sound quality and a natural tone.
- On the editor toolbar, click AI tools.
- In the panel, hover over Magic Audio.
- Click the
arrow icon.
- Next to a participant's name, click the percentage value.
- Drag the handle between Original and High to balance each track’s raw audio with its Magic Audio track.
Or, manually enter a precise percentage value.
Good to know
- You can also apply Magic Audio to individual audio tracks in the editor for more precise audio editing.
- This feature is available for all users to try. However, only Pro and Business users can export their edits with the enhanced audio.
- Magic Audio is supported on participant audio tracks and external uploads. It cannot be applied to screen share tracks.
