Remove pauses and silences

Use the editor's AI tools to cut all the pauses, gaps, and silences identified in your recording with one click. This can make your content feel faster-paced and more engaging.

Step by step

Using a computer
1. On a computer, log in to your Riverside account.
2. Open a recording in the editor or upload an external file to start editing.
3. On the editor toolbar, click AI Tools.
4. Next to Remove pauses, click Apply.
5. Drag the slider to adjust the amount of pauses included.
To restore all pauses, click Revert to original.
Using a phone
1. Open a recording from the Riverside mobile app.
  On the mobile app, you can create new drafts, but you are not able to make changes to in-progress drafts made on a computer.
2. Tap the AI Tools icon at the bottom of the screen.
3. Toggle on Remove pauses.
4. Drag the slider to adjust the amount of pauses included.
To restore all pauses, toggle off Remove pauses.
