Remove a section from recording using the transcript

Riverside's text-based editing lets you remove a section from your recording using the transcription of the conversation that Riverside generates automatically.

Step by step

1. Log in to your Riverside account.
2. Open a recording in the editor or upload an external file to start editing.

3. In the transcript, highlight the text you want to remove.
4. Click Delete.
   Phrases and sections you remove are shown in gray with a strikethrough.

Good to know

• Removed text does appear in search results, but is not included in the downloadable transcript file.
• Click the removed text to restore it or to refine the cut in the timeline.
