Rotate any participant's video to the exact angle you need.

Step by step

We recommend using Smart layouts first to quickly and accurately apply scenes to your recording.

  1. Log in to your Riverside account.
  2. Open a recording in the editor or upload an external file to start editing.
  1. From the editor toolbar, click Tracks
  2. Next to the track you want to rotate, click thechevron-down.svg Arrow icon to open its settings.
  3. Under Video, click the Rotate field.
  4. Type the number of degrees you want to rotate the track and press Enter.
The video updates immediately to show the new orientation.

Good to know

  • Rotating a track only affects the selected participant's track. Other tracks in the same scene keep their original orientation.
  • Rotatiion applies across every section of that track, even if it's split into multiple sections on the timeline.
