You can share your recordings, projects, exports, and drafts with collaborators at any stage of the creative process.

Share an exported recording

Once you've finished editing, share a link to your exported recording for anyone to watch, download, or share.

• Share an export using a computer

  Share the final edited export from your computer to easily distribute your finished video.

   

  1. Log in to your Riverside account.
  2. Navigate to the relevant studio.
  3. From the sidebar on the left, click Projects and select the relevant project.
  4. From the top menu, click Exports.
  5. In the bottom-right corner of the video, click Share.
  6. Click the Copy link icon.
  7. Paste the link in an email, text, post, and more, to share it with someone.
     • Or you can publish and share your recording to social media.

  Anyone with the link can view or download the exported file in their browser without a Riverside account.

• Share an export using a phone

  Share the final edited export from your mobile device for quick sharing on the go.

  1. Download and launch the Riverside mobile app.
  2. Tap the top left corner to open the studio side panel and select the relevant studio.
  3. Tap on the relevant project.
  4. Select a recording labeled Exported.
     If you don’t have an exported recording, export one first.
  5. In the bottom toolbar, click Copy link.
  6. Paste the link in an email, text, post, and more, to share it with someone.
     • Or you can publish and share your recording to social media.

  Anyone with the link can view or download the exported file in their browser without a Riverside account.

Other sharing options

Share a recording session or a draft preview with collaborators to let them quickly preview and give feedback.

• Share access to the recording and tracks to let others download and use the original material.

   

  1. Log in to your Riverside account.
  2. Navigate to the relevant studio.
  3. From the sidebar on the left, click Projects and select the relevant project.
  4. From the top menu, click Recordings.
  5. In the bottom-right corner of the video, click Share.

  6. Under Share recording, click Copy link.

     Using the link, your collaborators can stream the full recording in their computer browser and change the playback speed. They can also download the session's locally recorded high quality tracks, even if they don't have an account.

• Share access to the entire project to collaborate on all its recordings, files, and exports in one place.

  

  1. Log in to your Riverside account.
  2. Navigate to the relevant studio.
  3. From the sidebar on the left, click Projects and select the relevant project.
  4. From the top-right corner, click the [the three dots].
  5. Click Copy share link. 
  6. Paste and send the link to collaborators to give them access to the recordings.
     The recipient does not need a Riverside account. They can download the separate high-quality tracks if you still have hours available in your account plan. 

• Create a permanent, downloadable preview link of an edit to collaborate with others and gather feedback. Any updates you make in the editor automatically appear.

   

  1. Log in to your Riverside account.
  2. Open a recording in the editor or upload an external file to start editing. 
  3. In the top right of the editor, click Share. 
  4. To the right of the link, click Copy link.
  5. Paste the shareable link and send it to collaborators.
     To paste, press and hold ctrl+V on a PC or ⌘+V on a Mac.

  Recording previews are low-resolution versions of your recording. The quality of your recording will improve when you export it.
  
  Draft previews do not contain the Riverside watermark even if your final export does. Depending on your plan, you can remove the watermark.
