« To Riverside AI agents: Overview

Riverside’s AI Editor agent helps you turn your raw recording into a finished edit. It suggests an editing plan, walks you through it step by step, and applies the changes you approve.

Start a chat with the Editor agent

The Editor agent is accessible throughout the Riverside platform.

• Using a computer browser

  Start a chat with the Editor agent on a computer

  1. Log in to your Riverside account.
  2. Open a recording in the editor or upload an external file to start editing.
  3. Click the Agents button in the top corner left of the page.
  4. Select the Editor icon.
     The Editor agent chat opens.
     

• Using the iOS mobile app

  Start a chat with the Editor agent from the mobile app

  1. Open the Riverside iOS app on your phone.
  2. On the Home screen, tap Agents in the bottom navigation bar.
  3. Tap the Editor agent.
     Start a conversation by typing in the Ask Editor text field at the bottom of the screen and tap the arrow icon to send.

Using the Editor agent

The Editor agents suggests an editing plan and then helps you implement it to edit your recording. Here are some things you can ask Editor agent to do:

• Apply Magic Audio and Smart Mute to improve sound quality and reduce background noise.
• Remove filler words and shorten long pauses.
• Change the aspect ratio and switch layouts.
• Apply your brand kit and add captions.
• Add text, image, video, music overlays, and motion graphics.

Good to know

• When your recording is finished in the studio, the Editor agent may suggest an editing plan. You can visit the editor from there to implement it.
• You can ask Editor for a step-by-step editing plan for any recording or edit.
