« To Riverside editor: Overview
Apply one of Riverside’s pre-defined scene templates to quickly update the layout, design, and overall look of your video. Templates automatically use the branding applied to your edit to help keep a consistent visual style across scenes.

Step by step
- Log in to your Riverside account.
- Open a recording in the editor or upload an external file to start editing.
- In the toolbar at the top of the canvas, click Scene.
- In the Templates tab, click the scene template you want to apply.
- From the menu below the video canvas, choose how to apply the template:
- Select This scene to apply the template only to the current scene.
- Select Similar scenes to apply the template to scenes that have the same participants and currently share the same layout.
Good to know
- Scene templates are pre-defined by Riverside and cannot be edited.
- Branding is applied automatically based on the brand kit set in the editor.
- You can open brand settings from Templates tab in the Scenes panel to edit your studio’s brand styles. Any updates apply automatically when you use scene templates.
