Good to know
- Dictionary entries apply only to transcripts created after you add them. They don't change transcripts you already have.
- A correction matches the text under Misspelling exactly and always inserts the Correct spelling exactly as you typed it. If the same misspelling would match both a word entry and a correction, Riverside applies the correction.
- The studio dictionary and production dictionary are separate. Deleting an entry from one doesn't remove it from the other.
- Each entry can be up to 60 characters. Words under 3 characters, and common words like "the," are ignored when added as a plain word. Corrections don't have this limit.
- Riverside doesn't automatically add participant names to your dictionary. Add any names you want spelled correctly.
- Dictionary matching, for both words and corrections, isn't affected by capitalization.
