Organize your studios and projects

Riverside is designed to keep your content seamlessly organized and easily accessible. Everything is neatly categorized and simple to locate, making your recording and editing process more efficient and streamlined.

Here's how it works:

How to Organize within Riverside new (1).png

Production

Riverside for Business users can use productions to organize content on the highest level.

We recommend creating productions for different use cases of your organization. For example, if your company has multiple podcasts, create a new production for each podcast so your content is always separated and easily findable.

Within a production, you can add a logo, set custom file names, and customize each studio's settings differently.

Studio

With any Riverside account, you can create your own audio and video content in your virtual recording studio. You can think of your studio as a "place" where you and your participants can record any number of times together.

Projects

A project stores all of the content from a recording session (or multiple recording sessions between the same participants within a three-hour period) in one place, similar to a folder.

Projects add a layer of organization to your studio, making it easy to group your work by recordings, AI-generated content, edits, and exports. You can always move recordings between projects, create new projects, and rename projects.

You can access everything your project contains through the different tabs, each designed to help you manage a specific part of your recording and production workflow:

Recordings

The Recordings tab is where all your raw session materials are saved. Every time you start and stop a recording in the studio, a new session is created and stored here. This is your main source for original content before editing or exporting.

This tab includes:

  • Locally recorded high-quality tracks for each participant
  • Media shared during the recording
  • Transcript
  • Cloud recordings
  • Audience registration data
  • Imported files
  • Screen share files

Made for You

The Made for You tab contains AI-generated content such as Magic Clips, Magic Episodes, auto-generated AI Show Notes and snapshots

Edits

The Edits tab contains drafts that have been edited and customized in the Riverside editor.

Use this space to manage and refine your content before exporting.

Exports

The Exports tab stores all finalized media files that have been exported from the Riverside editor. It provides easy access to your polished, ready-to-publish files.

You can export content in various formats and resolutions, depending on your needs, and generate AI Show Notes tailored to your episode’s final version.
