Rename a recording within a project

From the recordings dashboard, you can easily change the name of a recording to a name that better suits your organizational needs.

Who: Account owner, admins, directors, and editors
Plan: All plans 
Device: Computer browser and mobile app

  • Using a computer

    1. Log in to your Riverside account.
    2. Navigate to the relevant studio.
    3. Select the relevant project.
    4. From the top menu, click Recordings.
    5. Scroll down to the relevant recording.
    6. Under the recording preview, click the three dots menu […].
    7. Choose edit-2.svg Rename.
    8. Type in a new name.
    9. Click Save.
      You can also rename projects and studios

  • Using a phone

    1. Download and launch the Riverside mobile app.
    2. Tap Projects.
    3. Tap the relevant project.
    4. Press and hold the recording you want to rename to open the quick actions menu.
    5. Tap Rename edit-2.svg.
    6. Type in a new name.
    7. Tap Done.
