« To Async recording: Overview

Use async recording to let guests record on their own time. Add an intro video and multiple prompts to guide them through the recording, so you get the exact footage you need without being live on a call.

Icon.svg Good to know

  • Once a participant completes their async recording, the host receives a confirmation email containing the participant’s name, email, and a link to their recording on Riverside.
  • Each invite link can be used by multiple people and their solo recordings can occur at the same time. When they finish recording, each participant's track is saved to your Studio with their name.
  • You can add up to 10 prompts per link.
  • Let invitees edit a prompt's script is only available when Scripted prompt is selected.
  • Your studio settings are reflected in your async invitation, so make sure to adjust your settings before distributing your async link. Maximum video quality will depend on the camera your participant uses.
  • On the mobile app, invitees only see the first prompt of a multi-prompt link and don't see the personal intro video. To collect a full multi-prompt flow with the intro video, ask invitees to record from a computer.
